What is the biggest risk you have taken? What gave you the courage to take that risk?
This is another great writing challenge from Nancy Blackman, Editor of Refresh the Soul.
According to Google
First, the definition of the word risk, according to Google, is: A situation involving exposure to danger.
That being said, the biggest risk I have taken that could have exposed me to danger had to be my trip to the Philippines.
Please understand that the risk was all mine and not the Philippines. Well, almost, more on this later.
Live in Los Angeles
Before I flew to the Philippines I will never forget standing in my terminal at LAX at 10:00 pm, looking out the window of my gate at this huge 747.
I prayed to God right there. I told God if this is not your plan please let me know, and I will walk away and not get on that plane.
I had no more prayed that prayer, then over my shoulder, I saw countless Philippine soldiers…
