No one told me I was the Comedy Show
The Back Story
My sister lives in a Senior Living Facility. No matter what you think a Senior Living Facility is, hers is a combination of Buckingham Palace and a cruise ship. Long story short, this place is brand new and so extremely beautiful and nice.
These seniors call this place the cruise ship because there is always somewhere to go and something to do. For example, take this past Saturday morning.
Family Get Together
My sister had arranged for me, her, and our older brother from Texas to all meet in the Dining Hall for breakfast. Apparently, Chef (somebody), was to prepare his signature breakfast, Eggs de’ Ploup. Well, that is what it sounded like to me anyway. By the way, his scrambled eggs were pretty good…I mean his Eggs de’ Ploup.
I was the first sibling to arrive. Before I could eat, my sis paraded me around the different tables announcing I was her little brother. The seniors here are just that—seniors, who lived a good life, and now just want to relax in a happy environment. I discovered this, as my sis paraded me around.
Then it somehow all turned into an entertainment show. The next table who heard laughing from the first table would stop eating, waiting to be entertained…
