Message in a bottle

This is a poem of a fictitious bottle of wine left by my Dad, to his three children. And on one glorious day, the surviving sibling of three, will drink the last drop, from that very bottle.

This is the same bottle of wine we have all passed down, etching our names on the wooden box, which holds the bottle of wine. We are now down to two siblings, me and my sis, which one sibling will become the owner of the bottle of wine.

However, neither one of us want the wine, nor do either of us wish to drink from this bottle.

Dad Left Us a Challenge

In a wooden box
Sitting proudly in a case
Is the sweetest wine
I hasten to taste.

On a tiny plaque
Is written for all to see
A note from our Dad
This wine, is for you three.

The three my Dad referred to
Were my sister, brother and me
I give you this wine,
To make a proper Toast to me.
