A Duet Poem, with my (late) Dad

The introduction or explanation for this poem, might take a while to explain.

Long story short my Dad started this poem long before his death in 1967. I found this poem by accident in my parents attic in their house.

The term “Duet” is a buzz word right now, as in a “Duet Video”. So, I decided to do a Duet Poem, with my Dad. This one is for you Dad. May you forever Rest In Peace.

Dad’s words are in Bold, just as he wrote them, and my words are italicized.

The title of this poem was hand picked, by Dad.

“Enjoy”

A VAGABONDS’S DESIRE
A Duet Poem, with my (late) Dad

I would love to take another
trip with my Dad
To again, experience
The great times I once had.

But now I have learned to re-live
Those wonderful time
Making new adventures
Without leaving the past adventures behind.
