Anyone who knows me, knows I love a good writing challenge. Also, anyone who knows me as a Poet, I love a great poetry challenge. Even better, is to put these two challenges together, and you have a great poetry challenge. Winner, Winner.

I also like to learn of new poetry formats, example Nonet’s, Sonnets, Landay, and Haiku. A great writer and friend of mine, TzeLin Sam has taught me all of the above different styles of poems, and others. She has some great poems and articles, and hopefully you have time to check out a poem or two of hers, which I will attach one of them below.

However, I was excited to read of, yet another kind of a poem called an “Apology Poem”, by: Sheri Jacobs, which is only three stanza’s long. What I read from her article, I liked, so I thought I would give it a try. I would encourage everyone to give it a try yourself.

The author of this Apology Poem, story is Sheri Jacobs. Her story is titled, Calling All Poets and Teachers. And as I am a poet and a teacher myself, I was thinking, this article checks all the boxes for me, and this might be a good article for me to read. And it was.
