This is Challenge #14 of a 30-Day Challenge.

This challenge comes to us from Refresh the Soul. Nancy Blackman is excellent at encouraging us writers to write outside our comfort zone.

For some of us, it might force us to research a little further to know how to write in the format she requested. In this case, on writing a haiku poem. There are strict rules on how to write this particular poem.

Lucky for me, I was challenged with writing a Haiku poem by another Medium writer a few months ago. This writer I mentioned is TzeLin Sam, who also had a haiku challenge.

Thank you, both Nancy Blackman and TzeLin Sam, for introducing me to a Haiku Poem.

The Mailbox

The box is empty
No letter from you today
I miss you; I pray.
