Excellent article... I tried my hand at leasing once in 2016. I leased a Red Dodge Challenger for 3 years. The Sales Manager said after the lease is over, I could buy the Challenger for 15K. I felt sure the price on this car would go up, and it did. However, the sales manager did not put that in the agreement, and the new sales manager would not honor it, but would sell me the car for 20K. So I would loose the 3 years lease I put in the car, plus another 20K.. I would not do it. I gave up the car. Now they have really risen in value, if you can even find a good used on.

Luckily for me, a friend was moving overseas, and had to sell their slightly used Toyota Rav 4. I bought it under blue book price, and for everything you mentioned, I am in no hurry to buy another car.

Buying or leasing a new car, or even a used car, is nothing like it used to be.

Good luck in your search.

PS: I work from home, so the miles I put on my car is very low. ..
