I felt the same way this year over all the past New Year Eve's. ....However, last year was worse. I was just numb from loosing my Mom, I really don't remember a thing about NYE last year, and barely any Christmas..

This year it was just me and my Sis, mainly because she lives so close.

I moved into the country once, and the MLK quote is so perfect. With no city lights the sky is such a dark rich black almost a dark blue color, you can see so many stars, and star formations. I loved this quote:

“But I know, somehow, that only when it is dark enough can you see the stars.” — Martin Luther King, Jr.
