Whether Big or Small

A picture of a man wlking out of a cave into the daylight. It goes with the poem I wrote about a young boy facing his fears face to face.

When the shadows fall
And the day turns to night
Some may sleep
And some may have fright.

It is during this time
That Fear may thrive
And during this time
Others may hide.

A bewitching scream
At the end of the street
It shook me to my core
And,to the souls of my feet.

My Dad would say
To face your fears
A saying I hold close
And I hold so dear.

A rose is a beauty
But it has many thorns
Evil is a monster
And this monster has horns.

So how do I turn
This evil back into calm
I need the advice
Of my Dad and my Mom.

Facing my fears
As I walk down this street
What is making these screams?
And what will I meet?
