Great article, a lot of good information on the way people speak, and the hidden meanings of their voice and pitch. I kknow a very narcissistic person. You are so right wnen you wrote, "People who say “I’ll tell you, listen to me” are generally more controlling, eager to emphasize their point of view, and want to transmit their point of view to others." This is that narcissistic person I know to a "T".

Some people, especially a large person, may have a very deep "barrel chested voice", this might intimidate some people, but in reality it is just the way they are.
