First... Wow, great advise from you, and your writer, Kinkenborg. .That was one of the best heartfelt answers I have heard in a ong time. If nothing else, I believe it made some of us, look inward into our oun hearts and writing styles, and try to figure out what works best for us.
Somehow, your article reminded me of when I worked in CSI as a first responder. Going on the calls was so much fun. Trying to piece together the evidence, and working with so many professionals was in a word exciting.
But then.... Something happened. I had to write the report, it could be 20 pages easily. My boss came to my desk one day, and said, you have tons of evidence, tons of handwritten notes, and photographs limning you office. When are you going to start your report? The courts need it. But Boss, I feel so overwhelmed... I don't know where to start. t was never was like that. But I was that day. Boss said, whatever it takes, but I want a rough draft in the morning. Ok Boss. The next morning I ave him a completed report, in a binder, will all the evidence bagged and tagged. I guess my point to all of this was.... sometime we just need a push.
Great article Tonya.
