This is a picture of a Backgammon board game. It is also mentioned inside this article. My Uncle taught me how to play Backgammmon, and I have played it all my life. I hope you enjoy this article.

Fond memories are just that. They are memories stored in our brains, which we can reflect on to raise our spirits. Those are fond memories. However, not all memories are fond. When I pass the hospital where my Mom passed away is most definitely not a fond memory.

On the other hand, those bad memories I have of that particular hospital, instantly kick in the fond memories I do have of my Mom. (R.I.P. Mom)

I said all of that to say this. I still have fond memories of my elementary school. I remember vividly the playground equipment we had to play on. I am pretty sure some of it went to military boot camps. We had a tower of sorts and the only way to the top was climbing a chain-link ladder, like something the Navy would have hanging off the side of a ship to climb.

I also remember my older sister breaking up a fight I was in. That does not help your image when your sister breaks up your fight, by the way. In the process, she hit me with her large book satchel—yes I am a Boomer. A book satchel was a piece of luggage to take to school to carry your books in. It had a belt-like device on top. You would put this belt through the buckle on top to keep the satchel secure. Even that is a fond memory of my childhood.
