Twittle Poem
Hello Fellow Twittler’s
No I did not misspell the above.
Writing A Twittle Poem
Yesterday I received a “tag” from a great medium writer, Sheila McCall. She had sent me her latest article: Twittle me This. Her link will be added at the end of this story. Probably like me, some of you thought this had something to do with a popular Social Media, chat site..
However, after just a few words in Sheila McCall’s article, I quickly discovered she was describing a formula to a poem. This style of a poem is called a Twittle poem. I have to say, I enjoyed this style of poem.
I was also luckily enough to meet the medium.com author of this “Twittle Poem Challenge.” Her name is, Carolyn Hastings.
By the way the title of Carolyn Hastings article on Twittle poems is: Twittle in a Nutshell. Which oddly enough is just about enough twittlespace to put a twittle poem inside.) In case you missed that, twittle poems are very small / short.) Her link will be added at the end of this story.
Between Sheila McCall and Carolyn Hastings, they encouraged, and challenged me to write my first Twittle poem.
