Hello Lin, (Maybe I missunderstood this one)

First, I love your writing style, and I love this poem of the Pink Elephants.

That being said,

You (Lin) keep writing.

First, You have the right, dare I say duty, to write from your heart. That is what all great writers do. You also have a right/ duty to write it with a poetic license.

That is something me and editors clash on. If I want to write outside the boundaries of proper grammar, and or common sense, I will. If I want to put a comma where it does not belong I will, like here,,,,,,,,, Because,, I am a poet, and I value the use of “Poetic License.”

Sorry, but I am feeling better already, lol

I am not sure if this is sarcasm or not, however, I would love to read a poem of the a massive heard of thundering elephants during migration, and how gentle they care for the baby elephants. The sounds they make form far away, as they search for water, day by day… Thank you Lin- I may have to write a poem about migrating elephants now.

One more: Edgar Allan Poe, wrote about a talking Raven, what if any logical sense does that make, but it is a beautiful classical poem.

PS: Yes Elephants both swim and float and swim.

Even the largest, most heaviest ships in the world, they also float.

Keep writing from the heart. You have a beautiful poetic and writing heart, My advise:

Use your talents, We love them.

AL.

PS: Who / What is a CHAT/GPT? And can you unplug it? lol
