My First: Writer’s Recipes Rule

A couple of weeks ago I asked writers in my community, and a couple of new writers, to send me some of their favorite, quick recipes. The theory was that I would cook these recipes and write my review.

Some may call this a “cheap shot” or a quick way to get a new recipe. (And you would be correct.). PS: They are all so good.

My Limited Cooking Abilities

I was blessed to receive these recipes, which all looked so delicious. I am not a cook by a long shot. Mixing a can of Beefaroni with a can of Ravioli is one of my daughter’s favorite meals. To say I need some cooking lessons is an understatement. (Help Me).

By now you can hopefully understand why I need help and suggestions in the kitchen. I was so excited to see new recipes, or for that matter, any recipes under the notification bell.

My First Cooking Class

This past Sunday I began my first cooking class with the recipe sent to me by a writer in my community: Lu Skerdoo. Her recipe can be found in my responses under the article I wrote:
