ROLL THE INTRODUCTION PLEASE
The title of this Short Story reminds me of a title of a Sitcom that aired on TV, in I believe, around the year2014. Starring Neil Patrick and others. It was a catchy show, with a catchy Title.
However, this story is how my mom met my Dad, and then, years later, as a widow, how Mom met my Stepdad. You still with me, Did I lose anyone?
Mom and her sister Both worked for the phone company way back when.
They worked on the 3rd floor of this building. My Aunt just happened to look out the window one day, and saw this tall, slender, Hansome man walking down the sidewalk. She yelled at my Mom, and mom went to the window. They were both tapping on the window, to get this tall man’s attention. Like This man could hear them tapping on a third-floor window.
This went on for a couple of days, as this tall man passed their building each day at, about the same time each day.
About the third or fourth day, my Mom did not say a word, she Quietly checked out for her lunch break, and then hurried down the stairs. My Aunt had the same idea but waited for the elevator. That was my aunts big mistake,
My Aunt ran back to the window in their office, where my aunt saw my Mom on the sidewalk…
