I agree with both of you, and in my usual manner, I am squarely in the middle of the fence on this one.

After surviving all the bomb drills we had in elementry school, and hiding under a desks for shelter from a bombing raid, I am more of a get the lawn chair out, and watch the pretty air show, type person now.

I love the generator idea, but do they make a solar generator?. Without gas or propane, when that runs out, how can you use a generator.

I do love the idea of a closet full of Twinkes.

PS: My second closet would be full of MRE's. .

I dunno, Little house on the Prairie, doesn't look so bad right now.

My Grandparents grew up on squirrel dumplings... I for one cannot eat squirrels. No Way, it's a long story... Let's just say, I get lost in the cooking process. A smart man once told me, there is no difference from a squirrel and a rat. Except the squirrel got a better P.R. Man... lol
