I do love the History of England, especially around the time of the Revolutionary War. There was one guy, John Howard of Bedford. Before he was Sheriff he was taken prisoner on a French ship. He had to live a as prisoner on this ship. Upon his return and exchange for an imprisoned Frenchman, John Howard never forgot the horrible conditions of being a prisoner. He wanted prison reform, so he ran for Sheriff. He won and e made some major prison reform acts.

I found this cool. In Jamestown Virginia, there lies a buried English Knight. While in America during the time of 1618, he died, and was buried in Jamestown. I love Jamestown, so much history there. Actually, I believe, it was two knights buried in America.
