I enjoyed you poem, Exodus

I especially liked the paragraph, as you wrote:

"grandma picked up big rocks

from her garden

and carried them around in her purse.

her way of mourning"

When my Grandfather passed-away. my Grandmother carried his watch in her purse, hanging on to the time she had spent with him. She gave me the watch later, and confessed, He wanted you to have this, but I could not part with it.

Your story reminded me, her "rocks" was his watch.
