I Named My Free-Range Rabbit “Jesse Owens”
I named him after, The four time. Olympian gold medal track Star *.Jesse Owens.
Let me explain.

Growing up as a child. I would hear my mom, Give great advice.
However, one of the things I loved the most, were her “ole- timey” sayings or Slogans. Now me and my sis just hold onto these old sayings of Mom.
“Going Jesse”.
Another thing my mom used to do . She was also a dressmaker. She always had a sewing machine. And all the dress patterns people used to buy back in the day. And she would make my sister, handmade dresses. Were they perfect? No.Were they made by the hands of my mom and her old Singer sewing machine, Yes. Which that old foot-pedal Singer sewing machine, made them beautiful.
One of my mom’s sayings
Mom would yell out, over the noise of that old sewing machine. She would yell “It’s going Jesse.” Mom used the same slogan, For pretty much anything and everything. That had speed involved in whatever she was looking at. Watching a car race with her. Mom .Mom would say. He’s going Jesse. He, being the person driving the race car.
