This reminds me of my dryer also.

Years ago, and I mean many years ago, I bought a "used" dryer from a friend, who said he would even deliver it. I realized later my house was just closer than the dump was. I was a bachelor then, and this was not an expense I was ready for. It was old, loud, and generated hardly any heat. If it did generate heat, it was around the wall socket. (Not where you want heat).

I even tried to cover the rust with yellow paint. Then my soon to be wife see's it, and its yellow / rusty glory. I had even nicknamed it rusty.

Safe to say, I had to make that trip to Home Depot myself. lol
