Mom and Dad’s Big Train Adventure
I took them to Train Station
And I heard, “tickets please”
They were ready to board
They were ready to leave.
As the train pulled away
As I waved into the glass
They’re making new memories
That forever, will last.
Nearly an hour later
In and Out, of the Longview Station
On a memorable trip
Across this Great Nation.
Their mission was simple
And such a treat
To see their darling daughter
After four days, they would meet.
Relaxing in the train
As the scenery would pass
It is times like these
They wished would last.
