Amazon Movie, It Gets Four-Stars From Me.
“On A Wing And A Prayer”
On my local news last night, the reporter was talking about a new movie on Amazon, titled,” On A Wing and A Prayer.” The reporter went on to say it was a true story about a Pharmacist who lives in Monroe, Louisiana. This is a city about 90 minutes from my house, in my beloved Louisiana.
I usually do not recommend movies or TV shows, because I know my taste for entertainment is usually way different from others. Example, my favorite TV show to watch in the evenings is re-runs of “Frazier.” That show cracks me up. If the episode I am watching is one, I might not like too much, I will turn to re-runs of “Hogan’s Heroes.” Welcome to the TV shows I watch in the evenings at my house.
However, watching this movie on Amazon last night, “On A Wing And A Prayer” has to be one of the best movie I have seen in years.
Long story longer
It is a very uplifting movie, full of family love and conflicts. It is a movie where the answers to many questions come from the most unlikely places. I really do not want to say anymore, I hate to give away too much information about this movie.
