Sagging Santa Clause

What Happened

First a belated Merry Christmas and/or Seasons Greetings to all. I hope everyone had a great holiday season. I was having a great Christmas Eve, until I was asked to be Santa for this year's party. How could I say no?

Here were the rules

  • There would be no children there. It was an adult-only Christmas party. I was still feeling weak from the recent procedures.
  • I immediately believed this was true when there were two electric vacuum cleaners in my red Santa bag. What kid wants a vacuum cleaner?
  • Did I mention no kids? Just run in and run out. Adults only and take a few pictures.

Well, that was the plan anyway.

First, I had to put the Santa suit on

That meant getting the Santa suit out of the attic. This reminded me that I had not played Santa the last couple of years due to Covid regulations, and I just did not want to. So, my Santa suit had been in the attic for at least two years.

When I tried the suit on, it was too small. There was no way this suit, especially the Santa hat ever fit me. Who does this…
