Roll The Introduction Please:

This poem is how my Dad’s closest friends stood up, and gave of their time and resources, to help my Mom, in her time of need. They even made it possible for Mom to attend a Business school, which she began her long career as a receptionist for some of our city’s most prominent Doctors.

These were men of Faith from all walks of life, including Dad’s Boss, and even a car salesman who was able to help my Mom get a new 1968 Ford Galaxy 500.

There was also another friend, who my Dad, had taught him much about Journalism, showed him the ropes, and helped get this same man a job in writing for the papers.

That same man 10 years later was my Journalism Instructor in college. However, this man must have had a lapse in his memory, or Dad never taught him how to be a college instructor. I am just glad I only had one class with this man.

The poem below, tries to give those close friends, credit, for their good deeds.
