Eggs or Fangs
Snakes, Flowers, and Eggs
Or, am I being paranoid?
Where Do Snakes Come From?
Or am I just paranoid?
As I pursue my quest to earn that illusive Mr. Mom Award, another thing I like to do, is to take care of my wife’s plants. I don’t mean big rose beds, or pretty plants in front of the windows, which I will. However, I like to roll the larger plants into the garage on cold nights to keep them from freezing on those cold nights.
Then the next morning, I roll the plants back outside into the sunshine. I have the plants sitting on, what I call a plant dolly. A flat round surface sitting on wheels. I also use a long metal “water-key” to help pull these plant dollies around with.
Long Story Longer
So today, I am looking at her plants close-up. Mainly because my back is just about to go out, from pushing and pulling these plant dollies all around the garage. I am also looking almost eye level to eggshells in the flowerpots.
One of her friends told her, eggshells thrown in with the plants, will help the plants grow. I am of the opinion water, sun and fertilization works just fine. It has worked since time began, but who am I? I am working on the Mr. Mom Award, not a horticulturalists award…
