So, What Is Love?

In High School, Young Adult, or as a Senior

Love is everything
Love is kind
Love is nothing
Like I had in mind.

As a young boy, I wondered
Who would ever love me?
I enjoyed playing games
Just happy and carefree.

Then in an instance
In the blink of an eye
Who was this girl?
That smiled and said “Hi.”

What is your name?
Frank is mine
Can we grab a Cola
And walk in the sunshine?

We had a Cola
And so much more.
Little did I know
She had moved next door.

We did so much
Like riding bikes together.
We did this each day
No matter the weather.

Her parents even loved me
They took me in.
They loved me too
As our romance began.
