The Deadly Cajun Wind

I went camping, In the Bayou today.

I paid no attention,

To what the people had to say,

Most were warning me,

Have you noticed,

or heard my friend,

The skies are forming

That Deadly Cajun Wind.

As I looked around the bayou

Few gators did I see.

Was I the Predator or the Prey,

And were the gators after me, today.

As the Cajun winds were blowing,

And Howling, As, we lost all the sunlight

Not even a flicker, just completely dark, tonight.

The Legends would tell us.

During the dark Cajun Winds,

Even the monsters would coward down, and show fright.

I had learned from my Granny

Who was a Voodoo Queen,

She was mean as a snake,

If you know what I mean.

She would always tell me,
