Lu Skerdoo’s Bible Story

Lu Skerdoo’s Bible, She Bought From an Estate Sale.

While working around the house
And doing my chores,
I took a quick break
And went to an Estates Sale next door.

I saw a Bible,
Nearly a century old
I had to have it,
And all the stories it told.

When I saw this old Bible
And, I will admit
A 100-year-old Bible,
I had to have it

I asked the family
I want to be clear.
Do you mind selling this Bible,
Or is it something you hold so dear.

The family responded
We know this is something you will take care of
We sell it to you, out of our Friendship
And sell it to you, out of our love.

The Bible I bought was different,
As mine is highlighted in yellow and red
