There is so much truth in what you wrote. I put my parents in a nursing home and probably saved their lives, for a few more years atleast. Me and my sis had a bright idea once, to bring them back home and to take care of them ourselves. In a word that was impossible. A nurse came to my house and showed me a list of medicine each took. Some meds are for AM, some meds are for PM, some meads are with food, otheres are not. Some meds could react with other meds, then there was their personal hygene issues. The list never stopped. Nope, our good intentions and love for our parents, was best served taking them back to the Nursing Home. There just comes a time, when we did all we could do, and by the way, there was cleaning their clothes and bed sheets daily, and cooking for them..
