When the Love is Gone

THIS OLD EMPTY HOUSE

When I come home,
I just sit in my car,
Cause I know you’ve taken
Our, love so far.

You’ve taken our love
Across the sea
You’ve taken our love
Far away from me.

I see your car
Just sitting all alone
My mind begins to wonder
It begins to roam.

I wonder what caused
Our love to stop
Like a dead fruit on the vine,
It began to rot.

He said, She said,
And all the rest
I cannot ignore
That you were the best.

I leave the car
And walk inside
It’s a new house now
Your memories, I had to hide.

You painted these walls
With your very own hands
And you destroyed our love
I can never…
