This was a blessing unaware for me. I opened medium, and the first article for me to read, and reply too was This, very heartfelt article you wrote about the passing of your Mom, in 2022? I hope I am right on the date.

I went to visit Mom one day, and she was yelling at tw Nurses and an aid beside her bed. The Aid was a Big, guy, who Mom usually would just cower down to, more like "melt" to, lol...

But she was yelling, call the Police they are trying to Kill me... I walked in her room, I gave the Nursing staff the OK sign, and told me, Mom I am the Police, and Mom they Love you, they are not trying to hurt you....the Big guy clasped his hands like he was praying, and said Thank You, You came just in time.

As I left the Nursing Home, I wondered, Did I come ust in time, or was I led there just in time.

PS... I just sold their house a couple of weeks ago. I know I had the legal right to do so, and it all went through Probate, but as I drove past their house... It dawned on me like a ton of bricks. That house is no longer mine, There is no recognizable car in the driveway, There is no longer anything in this world that ties me to that old happy house, or even my parents, anymore. Only sweet memories, a picture or two, and I cherish all of that. But it is a path we all have to take. God is good, he has walked with me, side by side, as my comfort, and as my strength,

Which all of this gives me strength to talk to others who have lost a loved one. God I am all in... Take me, Guide me, Direct me, It is my Honor to speak for you Lord..

I remember this story, as I reread it today, I remembered nearly word for word. The feelings you shared, reminded me of some of those same feelings I had for my Mom who God called home in jun3 2020.
