To Set Goals or Not Set Goals?

Don’t Let This Stress You.

I have read a few articles lately on how setting goals could actually cause stress or not. Then again, not setting goals can cause stress, or perhaps not. I am so confused.

I really believe this is a personal question that asks the reader to dig deep within themselves and decide the answer to these questions: What works best for me? What gives me less stress?

Planning

Are you someone who likes to have a specific plan of action, like a rigid set of goals, for instance? Or, are you someone who just “flies by the seat of your pants,” as my Mom used to say. Then again, you could be comfortable in the middle, like me.

However, I like planning. I have way too many things going on at one time. I can make great plans, but life has a way of stepping in, and sometimes ruining your perfectly laid plans.

When life steps in, I have become really good at saying, oh well what is Plan-B?

My Five-Month Goal

When I began writing in another publication, I had to have 100 followers by the end of 2021. This only gave me three months.
