What is my definition of family?

To give my definition of family, I first want to give my definition of what family is not.

• Family is not a place or a location
  Family is not a structure or a building

So, what is family

Family to me is:

• The people who love you
• It could be in any setting or any location
• It could be those you work with or those you are related to.
• Basically, those people who are closest to you

Some examples of family

In every adult career decision I have made, I have found a family. While being a teacher, or a First Responder, I have lived and worked with some of the best, funniest, and bravest people I know. More importantly, I call them all my family.
