Nancy Blackman, publisher and editor of “Refresh the Soul” asks the above question for her 4th prompt, of a 30-day challenge. This was a lot harder for me to answer than I thought.

I wrote and re-wrote my response to her prompt several times. Then it dawned on me. It is not all about me. Sure there are some financial responsibilities I have to take care of. However, after all that, what can I do in in a short amount of time, to help others?

I broke it down into what I would do in three specific months. Here goes:

If you found out you were going to die in 3 months, how would you spend your time?

Month #1

First: this might not be a great time for me to answer this question. Just kidding of course, to those who know my medical story.

Second: My Grandfather preacher used to tell me as a young boy, “Son, Heaven is my home, but I am not homesick.” This coming from a Southern Baptist preacher-man. I know he did not mean any disrespect.

However, if I did know I only had 3 months to live, I would:

  • In month #1, Get all my financial paperwork…
