The Sad Reality Of Life

Roll The Introduction, Please

The poem you are about to read is a mixture of the Truth and Fiction.

However, I would say more Truth than Fiction.

Either way, I hope you enjoy this poem.

It mostly came out of my childhood, and I carry it till today.

Roll the {poem Please.

Words Parents Should Not Hear

The Sad Reality Of Life

Roll The Poem Please:

The first time I heard this.

I was just nine

I should not have heard this.

It was not my time.

In my grandpa’s house.

I felt safe in my hiding place.

Under the stairwell.

In this tiny Crawl space.

When I heard my grandpa.

Preached his sermon.

He had rehearsed many times,

Before this Sunday morning.

I would know it verse by verse.
